So earlier today, I had a nice vent (as you can see here in Trying is Trying). I was still in feisty mood for a good portion of the day. But I managed to keep my head and heart lifted and in tune with the Spirit. Doing this while I made dinner, I could feel the healing Power of the Lord calm my spirit and speak to my heart. By the time dinner was done, I was in a much more pleasant mood.

While I was making said dinner, I received a text from my younger brother (who does most of the picture taking and delivery for my mommy dearest). If you saw my first Baby Things post, you'd have seen the tiny vest that mommy made for Baby G whose on his way in a few weeks. Well the text I got included this:
This! This made my day. I had mentioned a couple of posts ago in Tiny Things that Overflow the Heart that I was going to keep and treasure small moments and memories for rainy days. Well today didn't rain. It was actually dry and nice out. But my spirit needed a little TLC. Well seeing this, helped to put the finishing bandage for the soul on my spiritual booboo and made it all better. It was like having mommy kiss an ouchie. I can't wait to receive this in the next Mommy Dearest Love Box (coining this new phrase for future posts btw lol).
BTW, the newest box that Mommy Dearest has sent, isn't here yet. That helped to put me in a funk as well as I was truly expecting it to be here already. But the picture message I got today from Mommy and Bro turned that around. The Lord knew I would be tried today and allowed my mom to provide me with his support because He knows the things that heal and soothe my heart. Thank you, Father, for the small things that make the biggest differences. Amen
Will be going to bed with a cleansed soul. What are some of your Soul Bandages? I'd love to know. Where to you find your little blessings? Mine are of course my children. And tiny surprises like these make the spiritual ouchie feel much better.
Stay inspired!

Your fajitas look yummy! I hope it will all go well for you soon. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm happy to say that the box from my mom came today! I'm feeling so much more cheerful today and that adds to it. Unfortunately, it's in the car with my hubby, who's not here right now. So I've got to wait til he gets back. But I will be posting about the new goodies my mommy sent! ^_^
